The short version

Debrief handles recordings and transcripts of conversations between real people, at least one of whom is usually not our customer. That shapes every decision below: we keep the minimum that makes the product work, we never move anything into your knowledge base unless a specific request asks us to, and we do not keep the audio at all.

What we store

When you sign in we receive your email address and display name from our identity provider (signin.ounie.com). When you file a call we store the resulting debrief — summary, decisions, commitments, objections, risks, next steps, CRM fields and quotes, each with its anchor — together with the transcript those anchors point into, the participant roster, and the credit ledger entry for the charge.

The transcript is stored because every anchor is a position inside it, and an anchor you cannot open is not a citation. Deleting a debrief deletes the transcript with it.

What we do not store

The recording.Audio you point us at is streamed, transcribed inside the request, and dropped. It is never written to disk or to object storage. We have no product reason to keep it, and “we deleted it” is only true if we never wrote it down.

We also do not track you across the web. There are no third-party analytics scripts, no advertising pixels, no session replay. We do not sell, share or resell anything you file.

Your knowledge base

Debrief can save a filed call into one of your Ounie brains. That happens only when a specific request carries save_to_brain. There is no account setting that enables it and no way to make it a default, deliberately: a knowledge base that quietly absorbed every conversation an agent handled would be a privacy incident wearing a feature's clothes.

When you pass Ounie brains as context, they are read through Ounie's API as you, at the moment of the request. We never keep a copy of your brain content and we can never see anyone else's.

Where data lives

Application data is stored in a single Neon Postgres database hosted in the US. Transcripts are sent to a transcription provider and prompts are sent to a model provider, both in the US, for the length of one request; neither is used to train a model under the terms we operate on.

Payments

Payments happen on ounie.com, where Stripe processes credit purchases. This product never sees a card number; it reads and debits your Ounie credit wallet. On the x402 rail, payment is a USDC transfer on Base and we hold no payment credential at all — we see a transaction hash and a payer address.

Deletion

Deleting a debrief removes it and its transcript. If you had previously saved it to a brain, that page belongs to your knowledge base now and is removed there — we do not reach into another product to delete something on your behalf.

To delete your account entirely, contact us and we will remove every debrief owned by it.
